"Room was newly renovated. AC was off when I got there so it took a while to cool the room off. A little dust I wiped down but over all room was great. Will stay next time I'm in town"

"Great hotel we stay at every year when visiting Garner State park nearby. Very close to a walmart and fast food choices like Subway, Whataburger Jack in the box, wingstop within 5 min. Comfy beds, fast elevator, nice breakfast, fancy coffee machine. Only thing is key card reader on back of building doesnt work causing us to walk around. Clean . Also clean pool"

"Overall I had a great experience. The room was clean, it’s been remodeled, was quiet, conveniently located, & the check in staff was nice. My only complaint was the cleaning staff woke my kids & I up in the morning. Check out is at 11am, so I didn’t appreciate being woken up hours before 11. They shouldn’t be disturbing the rooms that guests have not checked out of. "

"Loved our stay here for our trip to Garner State Park! Only 5 minutes from the park entrance, the beautiful yard area and dog friendly policy originally drew us in, and the charming little cabin vibe made it perfect! We loved the picnic tables and fairy lights, and the swing was so cute!! The house had 3 AC units, and kept the house COLD! Description said they weren't in the whole house, but we were extremely comfortable and they absolutely reached every part of the house easily. It cooled better than our central system at home!Beds were clean and comfortable, and the bedrooms were the perfect size! Cozy but room enough to set bags down, and the mirrors/vanities were a nice touch. There were also lamps in each room, so you could have more customized lighting than just the big light, giving it a super cozy vibe!The *only* thing that I could mention would be the hot water access. Cold water came through great, but any warm water in the house, either from the shower or sink, came through very weakly. This made washing dishes (and hair, lol) difficult, so the dishes already in the house all had to be re-washed as I assume previous stays had the same issue and didn't take extra time to wash everything. It wasn't a deal breaker, and you could make it worse, but it would be nice if it was just a little stronger!"

"My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. We went at the perfect time because the river was flowing just right so we did a lot of tubing and kayaking. My advice would be to bring some good hard bottom crocs or tennis shoes since the rocks hurt our feet with regular water shoes. The house had all of the kitchen necessities we needed to cook and we used the bbq pit every night on the porch. The bathroom inside the house was very big and cool with the ac in it. We loved having the washer and dryer to wash our wet clothes and towels each night. The entire house was very clean and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back next summer. It was so relaxing and just what we needed for a good family vacation. The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. Definitely a 5 star review!!!"

"We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loma Bella. The downstairs A/C quit working. I called at 11:00 at night and they had someone there within 30 minutes and they fixed it. They were very responsive and we really appreciated it. The pool was great and the kids loved it. "

"Great property! Plenty of room for our group of 10 adults and 4 kids at Casa Bella! It was very clean and welcoming. The owners were very responsive if we needed anything. They had everything we needed in house and were quick to help us if we had questions. We loved that we didn’t have to worry about bringing linens and loved hanging out in the back yard. You’re out in the hill country so bring close toed shoes for the back yard the stickers are bad."

"We were celebrating my son coming home on leave from the army, the house was fantastic and cozy, the patio was a great “dance floor” once the sun went down, the stairs down to the river were a bit scary but worth it! The only thing that could make this place better would be a pool! But honestly, it wasn’t missed! We had an amazing time, no one was bored, it was a perfect family retreat with a breath taking view "
